Radiography or X-ray creates images from electromagnetic radiation, which pass from an x-ray tube through body structures onto a detector.

No specific preparation is needed.

Please inform your doctor or the radiographer if there is a chance you may be pregnant.

The study will then be carefully reviewed and interpreted by a Radiologist, who will produce a written report, which will be sent to your referring doctor.
